Straight from the Horse's Mouth! (Letter from Sellers)
Dear Potential New Resident of 82 Hampton Street,
From our family to yours, we welcome you to our lovely home of nearly eight years.
There are so many wonderful aspects of living in this house and neighborhood. We thought we would share with you some of our favorite things about life on Hampton Street. We were a young couple who bought this house together with plans to one day expand our family. Today we are proud parents who love the neighborhood and its parks. This is the home that not only helped us grow together as a family but also holds memories that shape who we are and brought us closer together.
• As you enter through the front door, you will be greeted by a bright foyer filled with natural light. Next you’ll enter the heart of our home-- the kitchen, which has open flow to all rooms on the first floor.
• Our kitchen has a great gas range with ample counter space and is the perfect gathering place to come together at the end of the day. The first floor is set up for entertaining, with parties continuing out onto the deck in the warm months.
• The cathedral-ceiling family room is our favorite space in the home; this room is bright and relaxing, looking out onto the deck and to the trees beyond in the springtime and with a cozy fireplace in the wintertime.
• The deck in the spring and summer is surrounded by leafy trees which feels quiet and private. There are local birds, foxes and squirrels who frequent these woods. The deck is a perfect spot for a birdfeeder if you enjoy them.
• We really enjoy the flowering plants in our flower beds, we have added each year and now have an array of hydrangeas, dogwood, rhododendron, roses, lilacs, irises, and more.
• You’ll never be short on parking! The combination of a two-car garage, gravel drive, and the second lot on the corner (which belongs to the house) it is easy to park 10+ cars, and can park 7 cars without anyone blocked in.
• Hampton street is a favorite walking and running destination for families as well as students at nearby Holy Cross College.
• Less than 1 mile away is the Pappas Recreation Center (with a playground, sports fields, and walking trails), Pakachoag Golf Course, Pakachoag Elementary School, and Cookson Park.
• We love the location of our home, positioned for easy access to both 290 and the Mass Pike, while still nestled in a family-oriented neighborhood.
• Within 4 miles of home: Auburn Library, Shaw’s, CVS, Walgreens, Price Chopper, Home Depot, BJs, Target, Barnes and Noble, Kohl’s, Marshalls, Macy’s, Nordstrom Rack, Showcase Cinemas
• Downtown Worcester within 10 minutes: Polar Park, Hanover Theater, DCU Center, Shrewsbury Street restaurants, Ecotarium, Worcester Art Museum, UMass Hospital
As we plan for our relocation to another home, we are both excited and sad to leave this special home where we had such joys and beautiful memories. We sincerely look forward to welcoming a new owner who will love this property the way we do.
With Gratitude,
The DiBenedetto Family
